Shannon Armstrong

“Within a single week, Ms. Brim was able to set up several interviews for my son as well as communicate his unique health-related needs in a way that didn’t downplay his skills. She advocated for him in a way that mirrors her expertise and professionalism as a job coach. It gave me great peace of mind to know she regularly checked up on him to ensure his new position was still a good fit, going above and beyond my expectations. Ms. Brim is invaluable—if you need help reentering the workforce, I implore you to use her services.”

“To grow and thrive in any employment position was always a challenge for me as a disabled person. Employers often look only at the disability, not my abilities. But Ms. Brim saw my abilities, my hobbies, and my achievements. Her infectious enthusiasm spoke to my aspirations for a career: to have a love for what I do, just like her love for what she does. All the barriers I previously faced disappeared with her help. Thank you, Ms. Brim not just for your assistance with employment, but for offering me a new outlook on life. I can never find enough words that express how grateful I am."

Alrick Hollingsworth

"Throughout my entire childhood, my dad struggled to hold a job. Then he met Ms. Brim, and became a Certified Peer–a position he absolutely loved. It allowed him to meet so many new people and taught him new skills (like using a computer). Before, he always told me he wanted to use his life experience to help people but didn’t know how. Ms. Brim made that happen, even with his previous incarceration. With her help, he became more motivated, driven, and happier than I’d ever seen before. I still thank Ms. Brim to this day for all of her help." - Kai Hollingsworth
